FAITH...

Faith is Being Sure
1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Before I get in this interpretation I want to tell you all I had to take a time out because I had a
struggle with my own faith. I Didn't think I could write this being objective, but now I realize
that I can and I will do the best job I can and the rest is up to you and God if you Believe to
do the rest. You see to have any faith at all at first you must be hope.
Hope is defined by Merriam-websister; as someone or something on which hopes are centered our
only hope for victory. Many times our hope are based on our need, wants ands desire. Hope is similar to
faith in many characteristics but you are not applying this this in man you are apply this to God whom has
his own set off rules to follow.
Some people say hoping is like wishing for something, Others think its like positive thinking, you putting out
positive energy out in the universe and it will give you what you ask for. That's not it either. To me Hope is
one side of a two headed coin, or to use another metaphor one edge of a two edge sword. Notice I used
two thing with delayed but purposeful action. They both have power but only when unleashed in
the proper manner.
Jesus would send his disciples out to remove, (cast out) demons, evil spirits and host from peoples
peoples bodies but they they failed. But when Christ came on the science he sent the entity screaming
running away. They would ask him, "My Lord we tried but why could we not cast the demon out?",
he replied, "because you lack faith". He didn't say hope, they had the desire or they wouldn't have been
there in the first place. what was missing was the unquestioning, burning truth that God would remove
remove that spirit from it host and give that person peace.
In modern times you could say faith is like walking into a dark room and looking for a light switch,
"hoping" to find one, then yeah! you find a switch, somewhere in your mind you think this should turn
on the lights but your not sure, you flip the switch by faith and the lights come on and you carry on
on with your your business. That is a real crude example of faith and hope but you get what I an saying
I will get into more details later but for now lets get back to why the disciples could not cast the demon
from that person.
